Taslim was born in Sirajganj, but moved to Dhaka to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Asia Pacific. He first started working as a freelancer translator to help with his tuition costs, but that has been his main activity for the past 6 years. He also worked as a Consultant Engineer at a local firm, but the business unfortunately closed due to the pandemic.
